Iron 883 is a very stiff bike therefore riding long distances will be a torment other than that bike is ok to commute every day. The Iron 883 is the bike that sits at the bottom of Harley-Davidsons Sportster line. Initially you may be amazed by this bike but eventually you will realize it was a poor decision to buy this bike instead of buying higher model.
If you want to mostly zip around town on shorter trips the 250 sportbike is a good choice -- and you can do some longer stuff.
